She left behind her belongings, including her purse, meaning she never intended to be gone for long

At the time of her disappearance, Martha Kelly was 73 years old, having been born in 1939

The initial search involved five teams comprising 150 volunteers who covered an extensive area of over 250 hectares in the vicinity of her apartment in Perth Andover

Volunteers utilized ATVs to search along a significant distance of 800 kilometers, encompassing trails, wood roads, and abandoned railway lines.

Nearly four years after Martha Kelly went missing the West District RCMP, Perth Andover Detachment were still actively seeking public assistance, indicating the ongoing nature of the investigation

Martha's case was featured as Crime of the Week on February 9th 2016 by NB Crime Stoppers in collaboration with the West District RCMP Perth Andover Detachment

A reward of $2,000 was offered for any information that could lead to the arrest of those responsible, although it is important to note that in missing person cases, the goal is to primarily locate the individual, regardless of whether a crime was committed
